My aunt Carol is 91 years old. I purchased these senior exercise balls and she LOVES them! They are small enough to fit in her little hands and the booklet it comes with is full of exercises she can do to strengthen her hands.

The leaflet text and graphics make me feel so old.... I am not that old, but I have arthritis in my hands so I struggle a lot opening items. I mainly wanted a big jar opener, and although I haven't opened a lot of jars yet, it works like a charm on my garlic jar that I always struggle with. Funny thing is that the set included a bonus item (picture 4) and I use that one every day to open my plastic bottles. So the thing that wasn't even advertised is my favorite. I don't know how well this plastic will hold up, but for now, this set is definitely helpful for me.

Lots of different tools in this kit! I'm not a senior but have trouble opening cans and jars sometimes.I mainly got this for the smaller white tool. I open cans of beans every week for dinner food prep. I can get the pull tab up easy enough but can't always pull the lid off. I feel like I'm hurting my fingers trying to grip and pull the thin tab. The "pull tab can assist" (see picture) made opening cans sooooo easy! LOVE IT! Saved my fingers :)The other stuff I have a hard time opening is tops to sauces and jams. A lot of times when you go to pour out a sauce (or scrape excess jam off a knife) there will be residue left on the lid/rim area. It gets sticky and makes it harder to open. This is especially true for fridge items. If I couldn't open something I use to put the lid area under hot water to heat/loosen it up. The larger green tool helped me open a few of these types of lids easily this weekend! Saved me time and clean up from trying to loosen with water.

After trying unsuccessfully to open the lid for my favorite store salsa, I decided to try out a jar opener. I liked that this set came with a number of different opers to support different sizes of lids. I also liked the clear instructions, though as a 50-year-old I did find them a bit condescending with phrases like “no extra stress on your fragile hands”. (I may not be able to tear a phone book in half with my bare hands but I’m not fragile - I just can’t get into my salsa!) I tried the set on smaller lids like ketchup or hot sauce and the opener seems to work fine. However, on any of the larger (3.5 inches) lid sizes for a 15 oz or larger jar, they wouldn’t work.

I recieved this as a gift, and love the quality, texture, and shape. So many different ways to use them, and there's a guide to show you how. Worth it.

I am not a senior yet, but I have some serious Arthritis and stiffness and pain that comes with it. I searched and read reviews for so many, but landed on this one - I liked the fact I had the option to chill or heat.Let me say they did not disappoint! They are seriously the best! I have used them 2x a day (if not more) since I received them! I also love that exercises were provided!

The item came as described with the different colored eggs, 2 soft carrying cases, an instructional pamphlet, a warranty card and box. The different colored eggs represent different levels of squeeze pressure for exercising the hands and fingers. Purchased this as a gift for my elderly parents; however tried the product myself given my own issues with arthritic hands. Was very impressed with the difference felt in my hands. They are easy to work with, stay in your hands, and provide necessary relief to swollen joints. The eggs themselves are not sticky but are textured to ensure they can be easily handled. They do have a slight rubbery smell to them but that quickly dissapates with use. Would highly recommend for anyone who needs to strengthen their hands or to just relieve stress.

The eggs do have a slight odor straight out of the bag, but it doesn’t linger on your hands. The exercise booklet is very nice with thick pages so it can stand upright on its own. However, the “What’s in your box” section does not match my product, nor does it give me the color coordinating strength of the 4 eggs in my kit – you’ll have to get that from the listing. Since each one is a different strength, I would get another kit so I could work on both hands at once to save some time. Overall I like the kit and think it’s beneficial.

I'm really happy with my purchase- i got these bands for my elderly mum and she actually use them 🙂 We tried several dvds with exercises, but it's difficult to do them regularly- with these, she had a look on the video exercises sent by the seller on the email and now she's doing the exercises using the printed guide- much easier! And the handles proved to be really helpful- she has rheumatoid arthritis so it's harder for her to grab stuff. I'll get more sets for my aunts, they could also use some exercises!

If you're looking to improve your fitness or that of a parent or grandparent, I can't think of a better place to start. I love that that the box contains everything you need - two different resistance bands, the handles and a book with clear instructions how to do the exercises. This will be perfect for travelling!
